Here is a link to my digital portfolio for MD400.
I really enjoyed the class, though the pace was quicker than I would have liked, my eyes were opened to the idea that integrating technology into the curriculum is a necessity in modern classrooms. I also appreciated the chance to explore different programs that would be useful for students, especially because for many of the programs, education is not their primary use, and I likely wouldn't have thought to use them without the guidance we received. I think this was an invaluable class to take for new teachers, we're going to need this information in the future.
Hey Katie, you did a good job on your website. It was simple to navigate and I enjoyed your photostory about pleasure beach. The website was very well organized and simple enough to navigate through. Although, when I clicked on your link to the blog it didn't open up and The powerpoint when I tried to view it as a show it didn't move either. I looked through the slides though and it looked like a great lesson. I know you worked reallly hard on your website and it shws through the projects you did.
ReplyDeleteI love your digital essay! You did an incredible job, it's such a sad story. Hopefully people will see it on youtube and petition for pleasure beach to come back.
ReplyDeleteYour site was incredibly easy to navigate through and you even went the extra mile by adding links to some of the articles we've read in class. Bravo!!
Katie, I really enjoyed your digital story. It was very informative.I did not know Pleasure Island existed. Great job! I am bummed that my PowerPoint did not function properly..working on it. Thanks for the feedback.
ReplyDeleteI really like the educational feel your website takes right from the very beginning. It’s very well organized and I like how you started with a “Digital Portfolio” section. I thought the use of a puzzle piece as the center of your Inspiration map was awesome. I had never thought about the ways in which putting ideas into Inspiration ties them together like the pieces of a puzzle. That was really creative. I thought the investigative tone of your photostory was awesome! That’s a great approach to take with children!!
